My reasoning for this project: If I'm going to drink every day, why not have a little fun with it?!?

Yeah... so I like to have a few drinks from time to time, but that never amounted to much besides pouring some gin over a few ice cubes along with a couple of olives and a splash of dry vermouth. Then, I attended a couple cocktail parties and realized that the process could be just as enjoyable as the effects. So, I built this site to document the process.

Enjoy!

My Last Few Drinks...

Cuba Libre
Cuba Libre "Cinco de Mayo Highball #2"
Not a huge fan of highballs and this is basically a rum and coke with a healthy dose of lime juice. Okay but not really exciting. Maybe this didn't work because this isn't really a Mexican-themed cocktail?

La Paloma
La Paloma "Cinco de Mayo Highball #1"
Asked my cocktailologist friend what a good cocktail was for Cinco de Mayo and he recommended this one. Kinda sucked because I left the $8 four-pack of extra special grapefruit soda at home and had to buy Squirt once I got to my destination. Think it would've been better with the expensive soda, but this was still good for a highball.

White Rose
White Rose
This feels (tastes) like a classic drink with the combination of orange and lime juices -plus- the egg white AND the maraschino liqeur. Nice drink... just wish I could have floated the cherry on top.

Prado

So, now I'm searching for recipes that use raw egg. I guess it's probably only a matter of time before I wake-up in the middle of the night with food poisoning. It'll be worth it, though. This one is amazing, as well, and it's always nice to have another recipe that uses tequila up my sleeve.

Whiskey Sour
Whiskey Sour "Finally used egg whites..."
I watched an episode of "The Cocktail Spirit" by Robert Hess today where he made a whiskey sour that used egg white and it inspired me to finally use egg white using his recipe. Amazing to say the least. First time but not the last to be sure!
